My inspiration came from my own experience, from my own youth.
Youth is not a period of life, but a state of mind, quality of imagination, the intensity of emotions, victory of courage over shyness, taste for adventure above the love of comfort. Young is the one who is surprised and admires. This is what revealed to me it’s importance. Like an insatiable child, he always asks: "And what's next? He rushes to meet the events, everything is wanted to be seen, touched, heard and obviously paid attention to. The rebellion energy that comes from youth symbolizes movement and developing character.
'' Stupid Youth '' is supposed to show the everyday routine of teenage lives. Every scene takes around 2 seconds. The speeded-up effect evokes the rapid pace in the younger years that are being wasted. This piece balances the effect of day and night time. Split screen represents different places and faces that are being shot at the same time in the different environment.
